Pinecrest Officers Slam The Chief And Department in New Union Survey

A "No Confidence" vote from Pinecrest Police officers to the department and its leadership.

The Miami Police Benevolent Association commissioning the survey where the department got low marks.

PBA President John Rivera says 100 percent of officers rated morale as low or very low in the department, and those aren't the only eye popping numbers...

"Over 97 percent agree that there is high turnover in the police department, in part because of the way they've been treated," Riviera says.

The survey also saying more than 91 percent of officers surveyed disagreed or strongly disagreed when asked if residents are receiving the highest level of police services.

Riviera says the responisbility is on the mayor an the town council to do better for the officers and residents.
