This is the mindset of the leadership which is killing this department. It's time to look in the mirror and stop blaming everyone else. Command Staff cannot get it through their heads... it's not the work, it's the leadership. You are not trusted. We don't believe in you. A true leader would look at this as his issue and his responsibility to fix... not blame on those under him. John Long, you don't have leadership at the PD, you have dictatorship. That is not an environment to thrive, it is an environment of suppression.

Because they wanted to be "real cops" but couldn't get hired any place else being the losers they are, so take the job here saying all the right things then belly ache like the ungrateful pussies they are because they have to do community policing, like they were told they would, instead of chasing robbers, rapists and car thieves. Well, pussies, you aint all that. And that's why the REAL police won't take you.

What needs to be done is a total, top to bottom review of every single person in the Department and drag out the protected, hide behind their desk losers and demand that they perform patrol at least half the year.
We have more "secretaries" than Police Officers. We have people who will need to be put through FTO again because its been years since they were on patrol
