    SHOTS FIRED at MPD OFFICERS

Last night multiple shots were fired at 2 MPD officers as they were on a call outside Foxcroft along Douglas Rd. One would think this would warrant a major incident notification, an email,a BOLO or at minimum an officer safety allert...for god sakes it warrants something!!!! But NO, not in this place. Miss a punch on the time clock=email, thunderstorm=email, late on powerdms=email, incorrectly formatted email=email...only the really important things are given any attention by this increasingly inept, disgrace of a command staff. As long as burglaries are down and the demographic of the department is inching closer towards matching the demographics of the city all is well!!!!

Well said. These are the types of issues Chief RB dwells on. Did the bullets strike any buildings? if so, RB could make a major code enforcemennt issue out of it. Replaster the wall or whatever and then paint it. We do have our priorities. If officers do get shot, lets hope they are white ones. We certainly wouldn't want to see our demographic plan messed up, would we Chief Black?

Hold on guys, Both chiefs, majors and capt were all running towards the exit door with EW and got stuck. So after 9 hours a decision was made to call city garage to mitigate damage and they oiled them outta there. Geez guys what's your problem with the command staff here? They are now a well oiled machine and have decided that the officers safety doesn't outweigh" the towing capacity of majors and EW. This is the real safety issue. Thus the new PD will have automatic sliding glass doors with grease on the frames in order to prevent this. Oh please get over the shots fired its nothing, so please be concerned with conducting your endless 68 cases.

Finally at 1544hrs an email regarding ofc safety from the chief's secretary. As if things were not disheartening enough around this dump officers being shot at does not even warrant an emIl from the chief himself. He was probably busy negotiating a deal for body cam or in a SmartWater meeting!!!

Why would they need grease? Aren't they already lubed up with pounds of KW Jelly, from their 55 gallon drum, from the staff meetings?
