"See the Probation Officer raped that convict over a year ago. So to them, it is ok."

It happened in Coral Springs Broward County NOT Miami. Ok?! He was arrested at the office off 441 and Oakland by a gang of police officers, led outside in handcuffs, on house arrest pending trial, fired from his job, and booked on enough charges to spend his life in prison. How exactly is that ok? That's pretty far from ok...

There are way more CO than CPOs, they are generally less educated, and the temptation is greater to introduce contraband or have sexual relationships with inmates because they have poor self esteem. Some of the people they hire aren't far away from being inmates themselves. I saw that for myself. What Z. Bailey did is not the norm. What the COs are getting arrested for is. On average, 3-4 COs get arrested for these offenses , DUI, and domestic violence every month. We don't hear about every single one. CPOs are quitting for better jobs. We're losing experience thanks to a deaf legislature and leadership.

Hey, Orlando here. Did you hear about the two Probation Officers in the Orlando Academy. They were both fired and then arrested for Welfare fraud. Gee, you rape and you steal from the state. People in glass houses should not throw rocks. You probation pukes are no better than the rest. You went to college and you are still losers.

Nobody heard about it Cletus because it never happened. Oh, maybe in 1981 or something. You dumb security guards need to clean up your act because you are an embarrassment to the rest of us. And no more pig roast, Cletus because you won't be able to fit in your uniform or your double wide if you don't go on a diet. While you're at it, go visit the dentist and have your four teeth cleaned. You went to middle school and you're still a loser. LOL!

Post the date, newspaper, and author of the story. Even if true, COs have been getting arrested at a higher rate period. There's more of them. Some haven't figured out it isn't 1991 when you could kick an inmate to sleep and go about your day. Misconduct behind the fences has made the national media time and time again. Those involved have given the Dept a black eye and poisoned the well for raises. It's too late in my career, but I would love one day to see probation under a different department. It won't happen because we collect WAY too much money in cost of supervision, drug testing fees, and DC training fees the prisons and politicians need. Those are just the facts. Sorry if it causes butt hurt feelings.

You are so funny. These probation pukes were not worthy of the press. Two in one probation academy fired. And then our office was told that our recruit in the Pat Thomas Academy was fired due to a D.U.I. while at the academy. And we are so smart. Hey co-worker at probation, our crap stinks too. We go to college for years and look where we ended up. Stop trashing the corrections people for items we are doing at the same time.
