Deputies arrested a man for attempted homicide on a Pasco County deputy Saturday night.

Aracelio Cruz-Rosario is accused of attacking a corporal when she responded to his home for a juvenile disturbance.

Deputies say Cruz-Rosario forced her into a bedroom, tried to take her firearm and she lost her radio.

A back-up deputy eventually arrived to help the corporal.
