Unfortunately, it appears that many coworkers feel that when certain individuals had 'protection' during the last administration, they made enemies by going after others and taking great advantages of the protection they were afforded at the time. We get it may have been poor choices, but with that said there is no justifiable reason to perpetuate a grievance on this board with pregnant female. Period. Just learn from their mistakes and if you are ever afforded a similar situation, remain treating others as you would want to be treated. Know the tides can and will turn. But let this one go til a more appropriate time. Unfortunately men can't get a stay of execution on this board for pregnancies, but woman absolutely should. As justified as you feel your grievance may be, you should know it is a losing battle to fight a pregnant female! You may have been preyed upon while you were vulnerable during the last admin, but don't stoop so low as to give pay back at this more vulnerable time. Just no.

The injustice is that these people that were protected are still receiving the benefits, when their protector is no longer. If people are receiving benefits that others aren't, someone should take notice, pregnancy are not. Where's sun sentinel to pull the records now. U get the point.

Now that Capt. Barclay is not leaving, he will hopefully will get the DC job when Lees leaves in April. He will handle issues like MP swiftly.

So what's the status? Is she on light duty? And if so, will she still be able to carry her gun, wear a badge and drive the police car to Miami every day? If she is pregnant, she can't fully perform her duties. I wonder why the preferential treatment. It should be the same for all officers on light duty. Period.
