Don’t fall for last minute pba distraction tactics!
The PBA is trying to create confusion regarding the AFL-CIO. Your IUPA Union BSODLE Local #6020 is NOT affiliated with the AFL-CIO.
Don’t be distracted from the real issues. Right now the PBA has negotiated a 2% and 2% raise with $150.00 increase to healthcare costs. These are the real issues your Union should be concerned about. If you want a chance to increase your raise and reduce your healthcare costs then VOTE FOR IUPA!

AFL-CIO affiliation with IUPA is an option for their locals. If we decide down the road to affiliate with the AFL-CIO it would take a vote from the membership to affiliate. Imagine the membership voting on an issue…new concept for us!

I'm so tired of all the back door deals and inside hijinks by the pba. It really will be refreshing to have our own union that WE control, WE vote on, WE make changes to.

It was Bichler, Kelley, Oliver & Longo the same law firm IUPA has been using for years. It's amazing how a PERC vote gets the Broward PBA off their arss and all of a sudden starts providing heart and lung bill attorneys. It's all show and will disappear after the PERC election.

Dude you smoking crack the PERC ballots say IUPA-AFL CIO unless your saying that PERC is wrong or the PBA was right and IUPA has been lying all along about being affiliated with that Cop hating organization. Gee I wonder which is More likely PERC who deals with unions every day making a mistake or IUPA lying.

IUPA locals have the OPTION of affiliating with the AFL-CIO. Your BSODLE Local 6020 is NOT affiliated with the AFL-CIO. The IUPA international Union does have local that have opted to affiliated with the AFL-CIO. When you see the tag of AFL-CIO on the PERC ballots or on IUPA material it means each local has the ability to affiliate with the AFL-CIO but not required to. It's up to each local union to decide if they want to affiliate. AFL-CIO affiliation is not mandatory its optional for each local.
