Word has it that Placido Diaz, the middle-aged, former cop who left the Miami police department under a cloud, is now being processed to return to the department, supposedly so that he can become a new Sgt-At-Arms, assigned to Commissioner Willie Gort. An alternative theroy is that Diaz, who plotted and schemed - and was the one who gave me the original INTERNAL AFFAIRS file on Mayor Al Alvarez that was missing critical pages - wants to become the head of INTERNAL AFFAIRS UNIT so that he can turn the Police Department back to the days when INTERNAL AFFAIRS was used to develop private files on political opponents.

Diaz got a taste for this kind of activity working as the Legislative Assistant to Commissioner Willie Gort since 2010, and was one of the principals behind the scenes in the campaigns to oust both City Manager Tony Crapp Jr. and Police Chief Miguel Exposito.

Its really impressive that Chief Diaz took out the corrupt Exposito clan from Miami and helped Regalado succeed and bring stability to the City of Miami. It's a shame that all Thomas backers and supporters got screwed.. MR. Mayor, Regalado, step up and tell them the truth who really kept you from getting set up with bs charges...

The word is that that some commissioner's are scared of the truth??? Who is on the take? Who got the kitty from the clandestine property room and who may have gotten benefits from the helicopters??
