I am with this , unit sup could do the GPS and EM. This would allow the specialist to supervise on the street, give them some relief. Before you go off, I am a mainstream officer and want to stay this was so no it will not affect me.

Sups don't have time for that. That's an officers job. If most of you would come to work on time, work without socializing, running your mouths and drinking coffee its amazing how much actual work you get done. Try it, it works every time. Do your job!

Spoken like a try supervisor who has way too much time on their hands. It is time that supervisors do more . They are getting high risk for what purpose? Running points is interesting concept it would put a second set of eyes on the sex offender , I like it. I may just send this suggestion up. We seriously get lucky the way we supervise time to supervise by choice not by chances.

Just for the record, high risk is for the stress of the job, not for danger. And by the way, most sups were knocking on doors while you were watching Scooby Doo, junior!

The stress of putting up with other officers who don't even know how or when to use the word "their" as opposed to "there."

My peeve is a easy fix the travel log and itinerary Why are we making two copies of it so that the supervisor can reconcile it when we turn in the travel log. Why don't we just scan the itinerary to our sups and save the paper. If every officer in the state did this the caseload of papers we would save would be amazing. We need to move closer to being a paperless job . We so waste resources.
