Loyalty
Paul is a quality professional that backs his best people and gets rid of dead weight. Paul backed Richard Osborn after Osborn shot at his wife and son through the bathroom door. Paul recognized that Christine pushed him too far and displayed disrespect towards him. Paul got the charges dropped and promoted him to Deputy Chief. If you were a highly qualified intelligent officer you would have been promoted. Quit the rants and give credit where credit is due.

Sireci
If this incident is true, there must be at least a CAD report. In addition, if a shot was fired, it would have been all over the news. Attempted murder or aggravated assault with a firearm? If this really happened, it is corruption at its worst!

These are very serious allegations. If it is true, your talking about state or federal investigation.

If this is true and approved by anyone above the Chief of Police, they too can face serious charges.

There is an HCSO report and a lieutenant picked up the 911 tape with Christine Osborn crying hysterically I would imagine he kept a copy

I’m sure not sticking up for Sireci, because we all know his immoral and corrupt acts, but this is off the charts! If you really have evidence of this criminal cover up, it’s not too late to report it to the media and perhaps a federal agency.

I believe Sgt Peter Bright and Lt. Scott Siefer have the documents and 911 tape. Christine Osborn would have to testify to the facts if subpoenaed . Osborn should have had his right to carry a firearm revoked under domestic violence and should have been forced to resign or fired. The proper inquiries would produce the 911 recording. Osborns prior employment with HCSO as a jail deputy may have helped by his friends covering as much as possible but the terror in Christine's voice on her 911 call for help speaks for itself.

Innocent until proven guilty also applies to law enforcement officers. If he wasn't charged than he can't be convicted, and can't be fired. As far as having his right to carry revoked its the same thing. Unless she was seeking an injunction he'd keep any guns not collected as evidence. Also, unless the victim wants to prosecute the case won't go past first appearance. I know you guys are highly educated but have no experience with the court system but there is a process.

Sunshine Law
Totally agree, however the sunshine law allows 911 calls to be public record and if this actually happened it’s a public recorded document open to anyone. Then, if there is a documented internal affairs investigation it is public record. Then, if there was no internal affairs investigation/document it would be a violation of law and news media would have a field day.
