    Commissioner Swearigen Re-Appointed

Well.....he now has the reins let's see what he can do. Hopefully the Senate will not play political games next year and let us get some stability with our management team. We have quite a hole to get out of after the last 10 years of budget issues and less than stellar leadership.

I wouldn't hold my breath. RS is already playing the political backscratching games with the politicians and violating policy as favors. Doubtful things will get much better here.

Instead of making vague statements like "political backscratching games" and "violating policy" why don't you just give an example and let readers judge for themselves?

Yeah, an improved economy means more money to waste.

Hopefully he realizes the number 1 issue is pay.... On both the sworn and non-sworn sides. Agent and SASs pay are too low when compared to ASACs and SACs. He needs to address that and retention money to keep from having a compression issue. That's one of the reasons you see so few qualified people taking the SAS test ( just look at the list) cause the pay isn't worth it. We will all have to watch these initial lower management promotions and we will have a good idea of his decision making, so far it seems wise choices have been made in upper management. Of course he can only promote as good as the choices allow him so getting qualified people to take the test will also help.

    Wow

Your post shows just how much damage GB and friends did to the organization. Give a Rick a try, that's all one can ask.
