Message and Warning from the Mod

I have read through numerous posts on this board and it is becoming a problem at the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office section of the forum that it is/has become nothing more than a gossip/bad mouth/slam you fellow partners and family (LEO family) website. This website was not created nor was it intended to become a slam site.

This website was created for positive interaction, communication, and encouragement among the citizens and the members of the office. It was also created to relate important news and assist with working out problems before they become major issues. That has not been the case however. Most of the threads turn into rudeness, name calling, and outright personal attacks. This behavior is uncalled for, childish and should not be tolerated by any law enforcement member who have a shred of pride in themselves. You as Law Enforcement officers should call for an end to it.

These attacks and violations are only being caused by a few people. These people are known to Mod 1 and if it does not stop, could and will face banishment. Consider this a WARNING to all who violate the terms of service on this board. Abide by the terms of service or face your post being edited, deleted, and/or banishment.

I'm not a "cop" but a police officer asked if I could find out the identity of an Internet troll. I have all the information about you, your regular facebook account, your wife's account and tons of photos of your wife and the asian kid... I will bet he's a better speller than you.

Now based on the response from the moderator I can give out all your personal information which will be supported by public pages where you have posted. So, here's the deal Andy. Stop posting your anti-cop horse shit here or I will make a FB webpage that's ALL ABOUT YOU. As Clint said.... do you feel lucky PUNK?...

So, what you're saying is you're a Charlotte County police officer and you're going to target a man's wife and children because you don't like what he has to say? Then, you can't figure out why people are anti-police? I don't care what side who's on, families are off limits. What do you hope to accomplish by making such a childish threat? I sincerely hope I do not hear about this escalating any further than it already has.

If the above information is publicly available there is no violation of our Terms of Use. Depending on how the user set up the pending Facebook page, there could also be no legal ramifications from doing so.
