PBA Negotiated a 2% and 2% Raise. What is next?

PBA has negotiated a 2%, 2% and an increase to you healthcare costs!

    Are you happy with this?

The PBA has already stated in roll calls that their current proposed contract is a 2 year deal with 2% and 2% and higher healthcare costs. If you keep the PBA, your first 2% is gone to healthcare costs.
Your Local IUPA union is offering experienced labor attorneys that will negotiate your contract with input by the people who know your job the best, YOU! There is approximately 15 million dollars in our legal defense fund. You’ll be able to vote for your leadership and who to endorse for elections. We CANNOT afford to keep the PBA. In 3 years, the PBA has only filed 2 grievances and represented 89 people in Internal Affairs. What are you getting for your money? NOTHING

After inflation, FRS, taxes, food, insurance and gas, you are bringing home only pennies more than you did in 2007. How much longer can you afford to keep the PBA? In 2007 a $40,000 car now costs $44,500. In 2007 if you made $70,000, you now only make $74,690 in 2015 after the FRS tax. $73,490 if you live in Palm Beach after the gas tax. Co Pays on insurance are up. How much longer are you willing to let your future and family suffer under the PBA? If the PBA accepts the current 2 year contract proposal, your first 2% will be used to cover increased healthcare, leaving you with a 2% raise for a 2 year contract.

Vote for IUPA! It’s time for an experienced Labor Law Attorney who specializes in contract negotiations to take over bargaining your next contract!

Nope....another lie from toll booth Jeff. The PBA negotiators walked out on that slap in the face. Nice try....are you up to 101 members yet?

What you will never understand Sparkles is that people like facts and links to check facts. You can bash all the people you want but the membership is seeing through your name calling. Hope you filled out a slip to justify a deputy needing to sit in on a lieutenants contract negotiation session. That really helped the depities huh?

Speaking of negotiations, I happened to be in the PSB when what do I see… the PBA going into contract negotiations dressed in their tactical gear. Really? What a joke!

The only thing simple is the self elected Board from IUPA with their zero years, months, days, minutes of experience.

We're doomed!!!!! I'm sure the BSO attorneys had a good laugh when PBA showed up in tactical gear. I don't know if IUPA is the answer but their the only hope we have. If 2 & 2 is all PBA can negotiate then IUPA it is.

Well if the IUPA guys have no knowledge about how to do anything, how are they able to pull of a good campaign so far? How is it that PBA reps are the ones getting written up for campaign violations? Why does IUPA know the rules better than the PBA? Why have the IUPA people not been banned from union activities like Lee Martin? Why have no IUPA members been arrested? Why have no IUPA members been caught up in the Art Santucci incident? No IUPA members have received a $50 discounted brothel house discount. And why are the Feds talking to IUPA about the PBA? What has the PBA done to warrant this?

They know less then nothing. Their campaign is attrocious and your delirious if you think otherwise. For 2 years you've been blasting the PBA over and over again and for all your hard work you were able to muster enough excitement about your campaign that 11 people showed up to your meeting 2 meetings in a row. You then blamed the PBA for no one showing up lol. Yes two Reps were given counseling forms for hanging stuff on the PBA Board which apparently we know now is not allowed butbwasjt necessary for Jason Zehler to be ratting out his fellow Deputies instead of speaking to them like men. But kharma came calling and Jeff Bell is under investigation for misuse of BSO email system and unlawful campaigning after he was already written up for it once before but I guess they thought since they were mamagements good little doggies as long as they rolled over when told and guess that didnt happen. Then there was the Kenny Auttenrieb disaster where he was transfered and had his new car taken away for telling the Sheriffs driver IUPA had already decided to back Willie Jones for Sheriff. I can just go on and on and on if You want but this is by far the worst campaign I could imagine and this entire thread is just further proof of your absolute desperation as you know the PBA has more members now then it did 2 years ago and IUPA has he same 100 it had 2 years ago. Its over Jeff be a man and walk away like an adult.
