The latest on the Scott Champagne/Tony Alfero feud. It seems Scott Champagne is one of the leading complainers about Tony Alfero lately. The others are IA. However, it has been discovered that a few months back Scott Champagne was being investigated, or at least considered for investigation, for providing a hostile work environment to a Detective/Trainee in the Homicide Unit. As soon as it was brought to his attention that he could be the subject of an investigation regarding hostile work environment, the big question is: who did he go to?? The answer is: he went straight to Tony Alfero and asked for help! HAHAHA!

Well as it turns out, Tony Alfero apparently made one phone call and the mere threat that Alfero might represent Champagne in that case seems to have ended that investigation almost immediately.
So, the question is does Scott Champagne have amnesia or is he just trying to make points with the brass? That is the question. What a hypocrite. Anyone that wants to confirm that, call Champagne or call Alfero. I am sure they both can confirm. It is just amazing. Some people will say anything and what a memory. How can Champagne remember what to testify in Court if he cannot remember a few months ago him calling to Alfero “please help me. They are saying I mistreated a trainee”?? Scott, what do you have to say about that one?

So let me understand this, Alfero represents a Sgt, Lt. and Deputy and all 3 get placed on restricted duty for no other reason then Alfero was grandstanding to Homicide and Sgt Champagne smacked him on the nose with a news paper like a bad dog. Unfortunately 3 good employees had to suffer because of this subpar show boating. Meanwhile the IUPA Deputy who had a whole week longer to give his statement was never placed on restricted duty because his lawyer was professional and courteous to the Homicide Detectives. This has been proven true and is common knowledge at this point. It is so true infact the PBA had to take Alfero off the call out list and not let him respond to critical incidents anymore. The PBA also advised us a PBA member may request MR. Alfero if they are glutton for punishment or perhaps looking for time off.

It seems strange that after all that the PBA would come on here and try to blame Sgt Champagne, first the PBA blamed the whole BSO administration now it seems they have rethought that strategy and are just going to attack one SGT. because the PBA can never admit when they are wrong they always just deflect and attack another cop. OK PBA good luck with this new strategy we will see how that works out for you.

He took down a great cop DOWN. CS is a great person and was an excellent cop. The 2nd floor turned their heads when asked what really happened. No one wanted to be involved.
