You really need to read what I said. The City did not conduct any type of search when Frank Fernandez was selected. Fernandez was not sniffing a final interview for a Chief's position anywhere when a friend reached and selected him. Now we pick Sanchez without any type of search. Experience means nothing when you consistently over your career have difficulty communicating with people, and that is Sanchez's reputation. Eventually, O'Brien will be a better choice for Chief. For now, a national, or at least a regional search should have been conducted before committing to a bad choice like Frank Fernandez.

I.A can't refuse to do an investigation. Nor can it refuse a lawful command from the Chief. They want the job they are in and doing. So your statement is a load of crap.

You obviously don't know anything. 2 of the guys in I.A. wanted out so bad they retired early because of the idiot chief they were working for. Fernandez didn't know the difference between a lawful command and an idiotic and illogical command. Get the information straight before you comment. BTW, every I.A. case started under Fernandez to date was bungled because of the lack of direction from Fernandez and the lack of knowledge of the I.A. process. ( i.e. Schultz, Callari,Langley).
