Integrity
You completely missed a bigger and more important political and executive question for Kurt Hoffman:
- If you were running for the office of sheriff in Sarasota County, would you admit to multiple thefts and to lying under oath during an official polygraph exam?
We already have several people (lieutenants, captains and above) who have a documented history of lying under oath (and encouraging others to lie under oath). Systemic lying is not limited to Kurt Hoffman, but it has thrived under his tenure. The bigger question is how to restore integrity in the upper ranks of the Sarasota Sheriff's Office.

Clearly you are the same pathetic dou*che who keeps posting comments about what’s coming or the make believe secret squirrel crap. Either be honest and identify your repeated “scenarios” are BS or just stop posting all together. Unless, you are the boy that got re-education and in that case I’ll respect your delay in coming out of the closet.
Why withhold the name? Release it or admit your full of sh*t. This site is getting really old and clearly the same 10 people are panicking and posting in some crazy notion these posts are going to effect anything.
Put up or shut-up...

Hoffman DID respond -- and he lied about committing felonies -- and the polygraph operator said Hoffman was "deceptive." Under Hoffman's management, we have promoted multiple senior SSO staff members who have documented histories of lying under oath (lieutenants, captains, etc). Newspaper reporters have written about them and have named names (you know who they are). It's no secret that today, many senior SSO managers are ethically bankrupt and cannot be trusted. Did you expect anything different?

If Hoffman were to attempt to answer questions about stealing, lying and failing a lie detector test, then it would draw public scrutiny. The vast majority of people in Sarasota County are completely unaware of his ethics-issues --- and the vast majority of people certainly don't read leoaffairs for scoop. Subsequently, Hoffman's best political strategy is to lay-low and do not publicly address his past. Ask Eric Robinson for more insight about political strategies.
