Do you know for sure that this guy actually got a check for $5000 or did you "hear" this. If its true, it is outrageous!

There was no $5000 bonus for travel. However CAs and up did get salary increases the past 2 years.

Ok it could have been $5000 increase in salary. Which ever, it was a result of most travel saved. Please someone look into this.

Where is the proof? How do you know this to be true?

Salaries for CAs, DRDs, and RDs have gone up each of the past 2 or 3 years. Check the public website for salaries. It's no secret. Since they all got the raise I don't think there's any way to prove this is a result of travel saved though.
