Really?
So let me get this straight. If you text a video that some don't like, even though it is a joke you get fired in Ft. Lauderdale? 1st amendment anyone?

1st amendment protects him from not being criminally charged not fired from an employer. But it's okay to call another officer a cracker over the radio

What some "people" fail to understand is that respect is earned and can't be forced upon you.
The more force is used in an attempt to get unearned respect, the deeper the resentment.
As the resentment deepens and you loose the ability to express your thoughts the resentment grows expedentially.
All of this will eventually net a most unintended and negative result.

It was stupid, but since only blacks have freedom of speech, somebody has to pay.

Really
What the officers did was wrong, however there's no union in Florida so like anything else the city can do what they want, this should be a reminder be careful what you do and what you say....Simple

Because as a very racist AG said Americans are basically cowards when it comes to race. He left off white Americans but he is correct. Why Oh why would someone-anyone get away with using "cracker" on a recorded police radio system? Because others (whites?) were cowards for not complaining.
