Thank you City Manager Blasi! You finally witnessed the incompetence first hand. Something we have been trying to say from the beginning, that this Mann has no business running a police dept.

You can make a difference NOW. Ride this wave of hope. Mann needed to go, you know that in your heart. And you don't have to stop there. Show us you are the fair-minded Manager we've known all these years. Some of the things listed below are what most of us have been watching unfold. We do pay attention; we do and have been participating in saying enough is enough. YOU can institute real change. Making Mann a scpaegoat or whatever is fine. But now YOU can right A LOT of his wrongs as listed below. Please do not miss this opportunity.

This is a very true statement. Mary makes as many bad choices as Mann did. Yacs arbitration is in May, Tammy is suing the city, and the Reid family will be filing a writ to get the Legislative approval tosue for more that the Goverment maximum.
The Officers on scene should talk to NO ONE. They can trust NO ONE. nUnfortunetly, Alfeiero doesn't have the best trsck record with Mary, so we'll see.

So let's see: Mann 2 week vacation plus the money Rivers paid to get him out of the DROP 5 years ago + money spent on Lees to attend the FBI academy only to retire soon, wait 6 months, then return with an even higher salary + yacs arbitration (win or lose, its costing the city a boatload of money for their outside counsel), + Tammy's lawsuit + the Dunkin Dounts worker mauled by Carl's dog + Mr. Reid's death + the possible natioanl search/vetting of a new Chief or Deputy Chief + i believe we are one Rocco Favata bite away from complete shutdown of the City + a USELESS Marti, and a not-needed Camacho = where the F*#K are is the City getting all this money from???????????

Oh, no its probably the fact the Rod, unbeknownst to the Membership, brokered a deal with the city changing language in the contract to make us pay for doctor visits through our own sick time, even though is was an OJI. WTF?!

He was rude, belligerent, arrogant and the worst leader we have ever had. His toooo close relationship with a subordinate Brandy del was sickening, meeting her for private lunches at the Whale on his day's off, hanging out in the sgt's office for hours with her, taking a personal interest in her education, giving her all the ridiculous overtime for a failure of a program, HEART, please, we have more homeless now then ever walking the streets. Letting her, Marti, Marilyn , frank call or walk into his office to ridicule other officers, completely ignoring the chain of command, moving brand new officers from FDLE into CID, favortism, favortism, favortism. Meeting Marilyn for coffee at the DD for whole nine months she was on the road. He had no respect for patrol, why, because he was never patrol. He was a FDLE paper pusher. His behavior and infatuation was so absurd, as a fellow FDLE employee put it, a womanizer, just sickening. He was not fair or objective, he surrounded himself with some yes men, who would only tell him what he wanted to hear, because they were in fear of losing their jobs should they ever disagree. Trying to lead by fear and intimidation never works. We are still feeling the damage from him bringing in his so called friend, Bb, who clearly influenced the ex- chief to be vindictive and just ****ing mean, extremely unprofessional. Promoting KV to acting sergeant, who supervises no one, because KV told a bullshit story about a vote of no confidence which ended tabel's career, Tabel saw Mann for what he was, a lying, manipulating jerk.

Mary, the above is just a few example's of the unprofessional, and ignorant the ex chief was. We are sure he filled your head with "how wonderful things are in the police dept". It's been a disaster since day one. You did us all, at the least the officers who actually care about this great city, a HUGE favor, by firing his ass. He even was untruthful in his "farewell " email, typical. Please feel good about your decision, it was the absolutely the right one.

To the people promoted or moved under the ex chief, many of you are good people, then like most who lost their nerve, drank the cool aid and any, if any at all, your Integrity and respect has been lost. You proved that by bad mouthing others for your own gain, we know who you are as so does Chief Lee's. You have to look at yourself in the mirror, you know what you did and you should feel ashamed. Don't even try to suck up to Lee's, he will destroy you ( quietly and covertly, you won't even realize your career is over, and he will put you in your place) why, because he believes in being professional, fair and objective, and many of us have full faith he will analyze and consider only the best for each position, based on experience, education, professionalism, and commitment to excellence, not by kissing ass or violating the chain of command, try it and see what happens.

We are all on the same team, we only have each other out here, so let's move forward, the tyrant is gone, Chief Lee's has some damage control to attend to, but if we can pull together and stop the back stabbing, stop maneuvering to benefit yourself, instead of the department as a whole, we can turn this around and can honestly say, I am proud and honored to work for the city of coconut creek. Thanks again City Mgr!!

Your last sentence proves how stupid you truly are. Your list includes some of the hardest working, most dedicated members of the department. The waste of taxpayer money starts with about 1/4 of the patrol officers who do noting in a12 hour shift. I work in patrol, I see it everyday.
