Maybe if some learn some radio etiquette. Really how fast do you guys expect us to type with all the stuff y'all babble out super fast. If it's not super fast then it's very low in volume....let's not forget y'all radio's suck and always have static. No one listens to their radio and just completely steps on top of the other person. It's one of us listening to more than 15 of you guys, let's be real y'all can't even remember a case number or your times but you want to complain when we say 1023 which y'all act like you don't understand
Plain English 1023: STANDBY until I acknowledge you don't keep raising me asking Dispatch did you copy
1003: No Transmit NO ONE TALKS UNLESS RELATED TO 1033. Not asking for a case number
That is all but I have plenty more

Bso dispatchers are the worst they 10-23 for everything. This change over was the worst the only good dispatchers are the old hollywood girls the rest suck. Between the ghetto attitude and not being able to speak english no wonder we get 10-23ed all the time. Oh by the was what other job do you have to do besides type and listen maybe if you guys where not talking between each other or playing on your phone or watching netflix you wouldn't have an issue hearing us. Oh by the way our radios don't suck we hear each other just fine maybe its the headsets you guys are wearing or your talking to loud but good excuse saying its our radios. And you say that we don't answer that because you dispatchers speak ghetto english and mumble and we can't understand you. I have an idea get out of your chair come put a uniform on and deal with what we deal with and you will understand better then and not complain telling us to 10-09 all the time. Ever think that we may not get a chance to give you the info again because you where to busy doing everything else besides your job.

Only a stupid BSO dispatcher could bring alive a thread from 2015. They are so useless thank god officers pay attention to where other officers are because otherwise officers would be hurt or killed daily.
Oh and it takes a genius to become a dispatcher for BSO. Most can’t even use proper English on the radio. Ghetto is there first language.

Captain Obvious
Both sides should step tf back and realize - for the cops - we aren't going back to having our own dispatch so no matter how sh*tty you think the dispatchers are, they're a cop's lifeline. And for the dispatchers, first off, tone alerts and 10-3ing the air - we're conditioned to listen for a tone alert or 10-3s when the 💩 is hitting the fan. Blasting a tone when you have to switch dispatchers every ten or fifteen minutes while you get up to run for a break without telling the incoming dispatchers where everyone is will yes, piss us off. Or sending us to calls and expecting us not to complain or be pissed off about the incomplete, incorrect or limited info we get from you, that you got from the call takers, which they got from the callers will yes, also piss us off. By the time we get info, if we even get any info, the original message is watered down by a at least three people prior to us and it is pisses us tf off, 'cause bad or no info turns a call we're on into something where we could be in deep 💩 and not go home at the end of the shift.
You might want to take some time to ask a fellow dispatcher how it felt to be on the radio handling a call - THE call - that turned out to be a cop's last call ever 'cause that cop got seriously injured or died. It sucks for both sides to live with that feeling.
