    2015 retiree Luncheon

Another great luncheon, so THANKS TO ALL WHO PLANNED IT AND WORKED IT.

maybe we should start posting a list of who we would like to show up at the yearly luncheon, as just maybe some of their friends quietly miss them and would like to give them a hug, pat on the back, share a few stories, drinks etc.

Every year we say a prayer for those who passed away, that part of the luncheon is sad, but happier times when you sit and have lunch with someone you worked with, laughed with etc that you haven't seen for years.

You get a chance to see the LUCKY ONES who are still alive after 30 plus years of retirement! Amazing! Maybe you see your first FTO or Sgt's, etc. When you leave you hope you are one coming back, and not mentioned in the yearly prayer. You see how we still stick together as a FAMILY AND REMEMBER THAT FLPD WAS A GREAT PLACE TO WORK.

I have great memories of each luncheon and hope the tradition continues at the POA HALL.
Thanks again to Jack, Mitch, Linda, Colleen, Rich and everyone else who put on a great luncheon again. And a big thanks to all the retirees who work hard as our reps in the retirees association! We are all lucky to have so many dedicated to the family.
