In order to understand how corruption works in this county you must take an aerial view of the political picture. The rich and powerful moguls in this area are rarely seen or heard from, it is their minions who do their work for them in the form of lobbyists and consultants. All elected officials this county are indebted to lobbyists and consultants for campaign and PAC contributions, which means that the local politicians, including our State Attorney are simple political puppets of the establishment. Think of the State Attorney's Office as more of an organized crime family than a justice seeking agency. Our State Attorney protects her preferred local politicians and lobbyists to protect her political interests. It is the State Attorney who determines who gets hired as head of the Miami Dade Commission on Ethics and the Inspector General's Office. Those two offices are currently occupied by two lesser puppets who respond solely to the wishes of the State Attorney. The State Attorney also controls the comings and goings of the two main law enforcement agencies in this county which are FDLE and the MDPD. Chief among the State Attorney's span of control are the public corruption units in each agency. As we saw with MDPD's decimation of its own public corruption unit, under orders from Mayor Gimenez we see the placement of Addy Villanueva, another political puppet, being placed as head of our Miami office public corruption unit as a political move. This serves only to keep the lid on all public corruption cases that otherwise would surface. This brings a good ethical question to mind. Why do we even bother to enforce the law in this state when those in charge of our most trusted institutions are only in place to cover up for corrupt criminals who steal our taxes and give away our public places? That question is easily answered. In the morning, when we kiss our kids good bye as they head out to school, we are hopeful that the American system of justice will function and that our kids will be able to live in a corruption free environment where criminals are put away and corrupt public officials are booted out of office. This is the difference between us and those powerful individuals listed here who are simple shells and more than likely cannot look at themselves in a mirror.

Jesus I never realized, but looking at her photo she is hideous! She should request a photo be used that displays her better features.

Nothing can hide the evil in this woman. She cares about no one but herself. Those who have to work for her now are experiencing that evil firsthand. She should not be in charge of corruption.
