    SO....has HSMV/FHP let anyone know how and what they are going to do with the money the Gov made the announcement about six months ago ? You would think we would have received an email by now on their plan? With all the troopers leaving might give a FEW hope!

    FHP needs to freeze the academy classes for a couple of years and hire those who are already trained and certified from local police academies statewide to get staffing levels under control.

    The moment you graduate from the academy, they have 4 years to get hired at any LE agency and most are willing, and that's a big IF, to accept poor pay and management, which is FHP in order jumpstart their LE career

    But hey, to each his own.
