I came to defend Lisa after the Tampa Bay Times did the story on her criminal past. I am not a police officer and it riled me to think that officers of our city's police department are picking on her.

Lisa does read Leo Affairs.com as that was mentioned in her complaint to the newspaper. I took the time to read every single thing written here about Lisa and some other things as well.

For me it is plain to see the public is free to put comments here and it is not exclusive to police officers. The comments here about Lisa ended up being a surprise for me because everything is backed up by public records not confidential police records and not gossip and rumors. The directness of some comments are to the point but not mean spirited and not by any stretch of the imagination are the comments about Lisa racist.

The thing that surprised me the most was that comment on May 12 about racist b-----s. Someone wrote that to highlight the March 10 newspaper story that Lisa wanted publicized. It was put here long after the last board comment about Lisa was written a month ago. I think Lisa wanted to publicize the newspaper story here and that accusation about r-----b------ is an ugly stain on her campaign for city council. She reads Leo Affairs.com and it is so sad that she has not taken responsibility for it or replied to it.

I looked up Lisa in records when she announced she was running and there was nothing there because I had the wrong name. I happen to know that some of the people who helped Lisa to run also did not know her real name and her real background. I found out so much by looking here and seeing the facts that one of the blogs calls rumors. That is the same blog that a Lisa supporter wrote about politicians having worse criminal backgrounds than Lisa. I looked that up and found that not a single city council member has a criminal record and neither does the mayor and the deputy mayor.

I think Lisa will be a target for ridicule every day that she sits on council and I think there are many people who could run that do not have criminal records. I do not like what I saw here but am glad I learned from it. I do not think anyone is picking on her and I think her record speaks for itself. I think it speaks to dishonesty.

Tell me. Can a white man, with the same pass as she has, sit on the council? Think not

rut roh....there's a teensy weensy problem with what she told the Times and Schorch. Her political handlers may want to get copies of the original court records, available at the County Clerk's office (the older ones are on microfilm but can be printed.) I obtained copies for a small fee. Crash'n'burn is all I'm saying at the moment.
