Random promos and transfers
What's up with the random promos and transfers?
Three majors get promoted with a memo that says where they will be assigned. On the day of promotion their assignments switch with a random move of three majors. Now out of the blue three names get thrown out as new traffic crash investigators when there haven't even been any interviews for the position. I thought the chief wanted interviews for all positions.
Where are we heading next? It would be nice to see at least an outline of a plan instead of waiting for the next random move. As one of those names on the sergeant's list I'd at least like to know if there will be any promotions from this list or when we might see a new testing process.
The chief should give some idea of his plans for the department. It's nice that some things have changed but nothing has changed in patrol. It's still business as usual with no end in sight.

Ask the chief about these backroom deals. You'll have to wait though, he's out of the office (AGAIN) for another week.

Backroom deals??? You could have ask him yesterday he worked the street handling calls, he back me on a domestic dispute. But I would not call transferring 3 people to traffic homicide who applied for the position backroom deals 4 people applied he transferred 3 whats the problem?? The 4th person applies for every spot that opens so it's obvious who to pick there.

That ^ speaks for itself. All the qualities the chief's looking for. Bwahahaha.
NBC's charming charismatic lying talking head Brian Williams is taking himself off the air for awhile until the heat dies down. So is the chief. Smells like charisma. http://www.inc.com/brian-evje/three-...eadership.html

Stolen Valor
Patrol is the backbone of SPPD, the true heroes of the dept. Patrol made the sacrifices (1/24/2011 & 2/21/2011.)
But there's always a clique of desk jockeys stealing the thunder with their noses in the chief's buttcrack and led by a Jeff Rink kind of guy. Holloway picked his very own spineless rinkydink - the only major in the chief's original 1/26 memo [to CAProp], that got a new memo 2/5 [to CAPersons]. The same guy involved in smoothing over the chief's misfired juve memo. I would expect Maj Rinkydink to pick his favorite buttcrackers for deskjockey duty, where they don't give a flying fukk about bad policies that jeopardize street cops. Then dump the "outcasts" on patrol. GoD's original technique. Two crap memos, strike three on the way.

look for more actings, few if any promos until current list expires, if the chief's on the same plan as TPD

Promotions
A lot has improved at SPPD...actual credentials and spine for a chief; no more Davis; the Coalition is cut off at the knees.
Three solid majors. We can deal with that. Heard Joe Dente is on suicide watch. Little man just can't shake off his unethical behavior rep from Vice and Narcotics. Poor Street Crimes superstar. And Frank Williams went down with him. Just goes to show...what goes around, comes around.
