Great post!!! POS issues were just a small part of the problem as it doesn't cover the damage done in the regions on the investigative side of the house. Bailey is a good man but was certainly "checked out" years ago and needed to go. The promotions he made at upper and mid-management were questionable to say the least as was allowing JM to go unchecked. He now needs to realize the damage he is doing to the agency and even his reputation by going to the press because he got removed. Take it like a man and walk away with your head held high.

It was Madden who forced the removal of POS squads in the regions and also refused to get decent POS vehicles. Madden and Sanz made Swearingen's life a living hell. That didn't work out so well after all.

Oh the shock and awe!! Politics in FDLE? Nooooo. Please people, we kissed Jeb's ass for 8 years and hundreds of political considerations were made for him. We have attacked Bailey forever and he and some of the others should go, he is a triple dipper at that! I love it here we they say we have been above politics, so outlandish. Tim used his clout with Jeb and other legislators to allow Jamie and Daryl to run amuck. We have been sucking for years, the locals know it and do not respect us at all. Get over it! RS will do a great job, so lets get back to doing what we do best, backstabbing each other.

Media keep talking about Bailey "retiring" and leave out the fact he already finished DROP, retired and returned for $140k salary.

Does Bailey not realize the damage he is doing to FDLE with this very public fight with the Governor? Or does he just not care about the agency? Is his ego really that big? The man retired after doing his 5 years in drop and then triple dipped for 8 more years! Isn't that enough? He checked out years ago! Go home and stop hurting our agency and discrediting us publicly for God's sake.

Ditto!!!! Everyone knows they way you were removed was unprofessional. You had the sympathy of almost everyone but now you are looking like a petty old man and are damaging our agency in the process. Let it go.... Tell your boys and girls to stop leaking info to the press and you take your huge state retirments and enjoy life with dignity. I would worry more about the governor's office digging into your tenure at FDLE, if they haven't already, and exposing the issues publicly that we all know are there.
