I should know, as I drafted the original set of the Terms of Use.

Just because something is true does not mean it can be posted or that it even should be. For example, content describing an officer doing something he could get investigated for or disciplined for. What if a sheriff or police chief was somewhere getting sexual favors on duty? What about juicy gossip about family members? It generally has no place on this website unless it is in the news. Also, our rules are in place to protect us, but also to protect our users. If you write something libelous about someone and we did not remove it because it violated our TOU, you could be held libel for it. It goes both ways, so be careful what you wish for. If the author of the above post wants to start a new website and incur the liability of a "no holds bar forum", he can knock himself out!
I think you need to back and read a few more threads because you missed a few.

Officially Sgt badge taser and ofc big head should leave. I believe Sgt AP came from Pinecrest pd and ofc JV came from a trailer home in Georgia. These guys are hated as much as JP among the horrible command staff. So in other words they will stay.

It starts at the very top and trickles down to road patrol. It's the individual officers that need to take responsibility for their own actions and not redirect blame on others. We are all adults here and have a very serious job to do daily so start concentrating on work and not recreational activities while on duty.
This post is not to take any sides just state some facts to think about.
What in the world are you talking about? That's a problem right there!!! Calling the thin blue line a joke! That's the exact statement of why everything is screwed up! The lack of loyalty, camaraderie, and tradition! Lecturing on "a very serious job", okay superhero.....go out and do your very serious job and duty and save the world! I'll stick with keeping the job fun and enjoyable and back my brothers and sisters in BLUE, Green, or even Tan! When the time comes to be serious, I know every officer here gets professional and does what they need to do!

Exactly! We do what needs to be done when the poop hits the fan. Doesn't pay to go out and be proactive. That's how you get shot at and not believed, bs complaints, etc. F that- my family needs me more than I need to be giving out tickets and stopping pedestrians.

The thin blue line exists when it comes to being there and backing each other up to do the job. I'm saying that it starts to disappear when officers do questionable things that are unethical. If you think that the thin blue line means to go along with those questionable actions then your mistaken. When that starts to happen then it falls on that individual officer who decided to do those actions. If you think otherwise then let me know how that works out for you next time. Seems like officers at several other local departments had that same theory and how did that work out for them. All lost there jobs and half are still in jail.
Remember the thin blue line exists but lets keep it professional. When we forget this is when things go wrong.

Ohh just shut up ! You and all command staff earn respect by having our backs not by putting the knife deep in our backs or by bending us over !
