I think the captains are useless. All of them. They could completely eliminate the whole lot of them and there would be no interruption of anything. The captains know it too. That is why they don't want to draw any attention. That and the fact that they have no useable knowledge. Don't get me started on majors.

I thought I heard it all until the majors told us we had to take a lunch break everyday. We argued, what if were working straight through and eating as we drive since some of our districts are so big and the answer was pull over on the side of the road for 30 minutes and document it on the DAS

Our office still has one of the marked, then unmarked cars. It’s a spare but it’s awesome for off duty traffic details with all the lights!!!

I agree with that policy. We have no business working a traffic detail in our cars. Look at the nissans just to name one, hardly any lights in the back can’t see see them u too your right there. No business being on the road

I don’t agree with class a uniforms for all but I do believe our agency should have an honor guard. In the unfortunate event that we ever loose an agent, and yes I said agent and not “member” agencies from all over the state and country would attend the funeral. Only right we should have an honor guard that at least attends in state funerals. But then again no one was allowed to drive a state car to a captains funeral last year.
