    Flsa yes yes yes

The case has been filed and those who do not sign in or opt in are not getting anything. All employees will receive an option because it is a class action Law Suit. Remember all those notices you have received in the padt about class action on cell phone carries, morgage companies etc. How many hours have you worked in the ladt three yeaes and mot gotten a single penny for it. The administration continues to take weeks off with no time taken from there vacation banks etc. We all have to burn our time because they refuse to have a legal comp-bank on the books even though they have several illegal one being done. If we dont prevail no matter but if we do add it to my FRS.

    Leave while you still can

If you have less than 10 years with LCSO. Then run to another department that is better ran, with better pay, and more importantly with a better quality of life! It's an easy choice do what is best for your well being not the LCSO. The way things are going you could be stuck after these STRONG LEADERS RUIN YOUR CAREER WITH A BAD EVALUATION! NO EXPERIENCE SHOWS ITS JUST ALL PEN TO PAPER! So good luck to those who are looking for better opportunities.

Need a big bump if I'm staying

Easy math! If you receive a 3% raise for the next ten years and start at around $35,000 you will make $47,037.07.

    35,000 x .03 = 1050.00
    36,050 x .03 = 1081.50
    37,131.50 x .03 = 1113.95
    38,245.45 x .03 = 1147.36
    39,392.81 x .03 = 1181.78
    40,574.59 x .03 = 1217.24
    41,791.83 x .03 = 1253.75
    43,045.58 x .03 = 1291.37
    44,336.95 x .03 = 1330.11
    45,667.06 x .03 = 1370.01

Total - 47,037.07 minus the governors .03 contribution you must contribute. If you're extremely fortunate you will make Sgt. by 7 years of service and be making around $54,000.00 after ten years of service. Your chance of making Sgt. is about 10 percent if they choose 5 from a list of 50. If they start at another agency over $50,000, please read above again. After ten years of service starting at $50,000 with a .03 every year you would be around $65,000. Good luck.

    Good point

If they start at $50,000 or more you will be making more than a Sergeant at Lee County Sheriffs Office. Congrats on your promotion without taking a test. Damn!!!!!

Those of you who don't sign your opt in paper are fools. For the average deputy who worked the road the last five years your check would be over $20,000. I don't know about you but that would sure help me.

Hendry County? Must not be. That group of administrative misfits is far from being anything.

He is a democrat that word is constituents are voting out come next election. Conservatives are replacing Dumbocrats. Of course he will tell people he was a Publican before becoming out as a Demo, but when you write the story as you speak, you forget what you eventually say.

    Find another place. Not Hendry.
