The beat goes on. Last minute shift changes after hireback has been scheduled. College fall classes starting soon and back on 2 to 10 and we continue to get bullied around out here. GHQ do you care?

GHQ don't care about schedules. That sounds more like a Collective Bargaining Agreement issue, unless you knew you would be switching back to 2-10. Contact PBA: Smith or Al Shopp at alshopp@flpba.org. Or a file a formal grievance thru PBA since that gets more attention because it goes above just FHP (goes to DHSMV at one of the Steps).

SECTION 3 – Work Schedule
(A) Where an employee has an established schedule, a change in workdays or shifts will be posted no less than 14 calendar days in advance and will reflect at least a two workweek schedule; however, the state will make a good faith effort to reflect a one month schedule.
(B) In the event of a declared emergency the notice requirement of this Section may be void.
(C) The state will continue to observe the scheduling structures currently in place at the DHSMV and agrees to bargain any change in the overall practice of how schedules are established.

Hall will never see the rank above Captain and if Lopez doesn't get him into check or get rid of him. Then Lopez won't see the rank above Major. Hall is a typical no body that got rank by being able to take a test. A true leader can lead his troops and then gets there repect. A crappie leader demands his troops repect and never accomplishes anything but disrespect. Don't say it is because his is a new Captain, he has been there now for over three years and nothing has changed . Therefore nothing will change in the future just mor discontent.
