    Noise complaint

I realize the Sheriff's Office is really under staffed. Would calling in a noise complaint from a party do any good? Would anybody respond? I live in a small sub division. No, I don't want to confront the neighbors and ask them to turn it down.

    And.....
What if there is underage drinking?
Or intoxicated people driving as they leave the subdivision?

A noise complaint by itself won't be dispatched to a deputy unless you agree to meet one. Usually the first offense is simply a "turn it down." Repeated offenses of the same address may result in a fine or arrest.

Underage drinking and possible intoxicated drivers will likely warrant a response whether you meet the deputy or not, but always agree to meet with the deputy anyway.

Be sure to call non-emergency 813-247-8200 for this. Expect the call to hold for a long time due to the under staffing of this agency.

Thank you for your response. And God bless the Deputies.
