Why is it only the crimes of civilians are reported here?

If the crimes of police officers were pursued as aggressively as the crimes of civilians then a lot of distrust of the police would fade away. What? You do not think there is any crime perpetrated by police officers that warrant any attention? Go here.

    http://www.policemisconduct.net/

This is one of many sites where the crimes of police are reported. But unlike the civilian population the police for the most part get light punishment for what a civilian would be sent to prison for doing.Or they get no punishment at all. Some get terminated and just move on to another police department while their victim is still recovering. Most get a paid vacation.

This is due to the lack of transparency and the refusal of good cops to cross that thin blue line.Good cops assist in bringing the wrath of the public on all police when they are witness to wrongdoing by bad officers and do nothing.Or worse yet they enter into a conspiracy of lies and perjury to justify their cohorts misdeeds. The bottom line is that there are bad cops just like there are bad people.Start weeding them out and treat them like you would treat a civilian criminal. Then you can begin to regain the public trust.Sooner or later this will come to pass as there are too many cameras out there for bad cops to keep getting away with their crimes. It will just be a matter of time until they are all uncovered. You may be recorded covering up a blatant lie or abuse by another officer and pay the price for their deeds.Keep that in mind next time you go to sign your name on a report that you clearly know is full of lies.
The streets are watching.I hope all police officers get home safe to their families after every shift.I also hope all of the innocent civilians harassed daily by bad cops are afforded the same luxury.

I think it's time to update this thread with the actual outcome of the incident. Some posters labeled Off. Darren Wilson a criminal while others defended him. According to our "Was Off. Darren Wilson justified in using deadly force against Michael Brown?" online poll:

59.99% - Absolutely, he was in fear of his life and had reason to be!
21.94% - I do not have enough information to make a decision yet.
11.73% - I believe he was more justified than being unjustified.
02.81% - Absolutely not, he should have never used deadly force!
02.30% - I am indifferent or I do not know.
00.77% - I believe he was more unjustified than being justified.
00.51% - I believe he was justified in shooting, but he should have shot to wound.

Let's see what the official investigation revealed:

On 03/04/15 it was announced that the Justice Department CLEARED Off. Darren Wilson of civil rights violations in the Michael Brown. The report is 86 pages long and more than 40 witnesses were interviewed. News accounts relayed that witness accounts of the incident conflicted with forensic evidence (in other words, they were wrong or intentionally lied) and that some witnesses who supported Off. Wilson delayed going public because they were afraid to tell the truth due to reprisals from the community. So, more than 70% of LEOAFFAIRS.COM users support this outcome!

On 04/23/15 the family of Michael Brown responded by filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the City of Ferguson, former Off. Darren Wilson and former Chief Thomas Jackson. It should surprise anyone that the family's attorneys suggest that they have evidence that contradicts Off. Wilson's account of what happened.

On 05/05/15 Dorian Johnson (Michael Brown's "partner") filed a lawsuit alleging that he was wrongly stopped and shot at during the incident. He's seeking $25,000 in damages (that should tell you something).
