He got his job back and a year's worth of salary for the time he was out after he was fired. He is doing a lot of chest thumping, bragging about how he beat the County. What he isn't saying is that the arbitrator concluded he wasn't entitled to the $23k he misappropriated and ordered that the money be deducted from the money due to him.

Three years of stress and bs, the demotion, the embarrassment, and all he has to show for it is high blood pressure and a continuing fight with the County and the FRS.

Oh yeah, he won alright.

Yeah, he won, but your should also note that he proved your hero Jimmy Loftus as WRONG! Lets not forget that the demotion is something many majors want to get because it means more pay and better benefits to be a captain. Also, Tyrone already hit his high 5 years so no big deal unless you are like many others and think a title means something in life. Just read this forum and see how having rank means nothing.
