Most of the RCC's are average - compared to similar size com-centers with local LEO and Public Safety departments hell the RCC's do not even have a basic ANI/ALI system for 911 calls. The really good and decent dispatchers leave to go to other agencies to make more money and have more time off....

Margaret Goodman needs to kick arse and take names. Best DO and DOS in the history of FHP.

She has no power, she is retiring. The Majors run their RCC's, and that's the problem....And some the DOS at TRCC are the 2 worst in FHP History, One lives two hours away and only works to ruin the place because they previously fired her.

It's painfully obvious that the building isn't reading this site as they claim to. If they were, they would have done some investigation by now. It's obvious, speaking as an outsider, that the quality of work coming from the TRCC has suffered greatly over the past year or so, mainly on the evening shift. The quality of the supervision on that shift is very poor. It's very obvious that the DOS's are not doing thier job or doing it poorly and either need to be monitored, so they can be told what they're doing wrong, or replaced by actual supervisors who supervise.

I think that, with the quality of work suffering as it has since the implementation of the civillian manager program, it may be beneficial for the department to revisit the idea of having a sworn presence within the communication center.

They are a joke....and now we have civilians supervising civilians......like they didn't cover for each other before. It is a serious liability waiting to explode and get someone killed and everyone knows.

The entire statewide communications system should be taken out of FHP all together and completely run by civilians. Troopers do not how to do a DO's job anymore than a DO knows how to do a troopers job. What brass want's the DO's to do is to make their work easier and has nothing to do with dispatching. The DO's job is to dispatch, and privide field support for the troopers .....not compile statistics for brass.

I believe you're wrong. DO's need to be supervised by LEO's. The wider the divide between the office and the field, the more gaps in quality of service. The civillians are doing a horrible job.
