Re: Geier Resume
I will say it over and over again, 1 year, 2 at the tops before he gets the boot and Like will be moved into the top spot...the Coalition rebuilding begins. Too bad, some of those who should be promoted now won't be because they didn't openly support the Coalition.

Re: Geier Resume
It's interesting how a few controversial supervisors in the department are the only ones who support him. But why? Why Geier? I guess because he was the most likely pick to beat out Melanie. By "favoritism" I guess LT meant that he specifically wasn't favored, as he was with the old regime. I know many officers who didn't know Melanie at all and had nothing to gain personally, but still supported her. I think people like her because she knew what the old admin had done. How they cheated on tests (i.e. Major trying to get it out of the safe), slammed dissenters, and practiced racial quotas. She also just talks to officers on equal ground, and none of the admin ever did that either.
Oh well, I doubt Geier made any promises to them so they may not gain what they think.

“As chief of police, appellant’s dishonesty during the investigation are unfathomable actions and are a corruption of what police work is all about,” Merkow wrote in his March 17 recommendation.
