Right now the US. Government is giving Armored MRAPS and Humvees to Law Enforcement Agencies. FWC should request two MRAPS and six Humvees for use by SOG in situations that involve domestic terrorism , Officer rescue etc. They are available at no cost and there is no reason not to have them. Right, because that's a reasonable scenario. If obtained, there will no accountability of these vehicles and their use won't be restricted to approved special operations group deployments. In fact, it's common that these types of vehicles are used for routine traffic stops by the agencies that have been given them under the federal 1033 program...just yesterday Harris County, Texas used one on a guy who was simply sitting in his car in a cul-de-sac in a neighborhood.

You do realize that the post you quoted was written more than a month before the anarchy began in Missouri,right?
