    Re: Gagnon acquitted

We can't worry about what the sentence is, besides that if you've been a LEO for any amount of time you would know Dubensky is one of the most liberal judges in the district. I guess by your logic we should just ignore anything that won't get prison time.

When everyone with an IQ over 10 can see that "There was never one piece of evidence that Mr. Frazier had sexual relations with or touched any student inappropriately", then yes, no charges should have been recommended.

Now it was found that there was NO EVIDENCE presented by the School Board in the administrative hearing that shows he even violated school board policy........hope the PD and the School Board have some deeeeep pockets...hehe. It's a lot easier to prove the shady, inept, vindictive investigation by the school board investigator in the civil court! AS for the PD investigators, they've got some 'splainin to do Lucy.....good thing they have immunity under the law

And a certain School Board person, MIMI, should start sweating.....wouldn't be surprised to see her develop a sudden "virus", like her cell phone did, and take a leave absence....permanently!

The recommended order, filed Monday by administrative law judge Lynne Quimby-Pennock, states the school district failed to show sufficient evidence Gagnon violated any law, rule or school board policy.

"There was no direct, non-hearsay evidence that Respondent knowingly failed to perform his duties as principal or assistant superintendent in the appropriate manner," the recommended order reads.

The order recommended Gagnon, also a former principal at Manatee High School, should be reinstated and awarded full back pay.

You should be concerned. It's your detectives that look like they couldn't put a solid case together. I do believe that witnesses in the case said that BPD Detectives put words in their mouths and and into writing that they never said. So, yeah, be concerned!

Oh wait, the same Detective has been in trouble before right?

The interviews were recorded so once again we are not worried about anything, sorry to disappoint you with our lack of concern for your feelings!

This would only matter to Professional Police Officers. Backwards, low class cops couldn't care less.

    Re: Gagnon acquitted

"Bradenton Police recommended this week that Manatee High School assistant football coach Rod Frazier and four school district officials, including Assistant Superintendent Bob Gagnon, face criminal charges stemming from allegations that Frazier groped a high school student." Herald Tribune article from April 2, 2013.

Mr. Bassett is an intelligent man, so it is troublesome to read such letters when someone - especially an attorney - would hang a label of "witch hunt" on Superintendent Mills when it was law enforcement - not a school district representative - that investigated and recommended criminal charges be filed against Gagnon and others.
