The truth is, the mayor needs to go. So does any commissioner that sides with him against the police on this budget. That's the only way there will be any change. An elected sheriff won't make a difference (unless its you or his/her friend) their budget is subject to approval by the commission which can be vetoed the mayor. Sure there is an appeal process to the Governor, but guess where that will go.

Please stop accusing everyone that disagrees with you of being corrupt and one of the mayors lap dogs. It just makes you sound like the impotent whinny little ***** you are and gives the public reading this the impression everyone else working for the Department may be too.
