Right now there is a lot of internal turmoil on the 2nd floor at the Sarasota Sheriff's Office, due to Knight's gross incompetence. Since SSO employees have no one to complain to (except the governor up in Tallahassee), Knight is being taken to court by SSO employees. It's easier for SSO employees to take local issues to local judges, instead of trying to take local issues to the governor up in Tallahassee. Knight is being sued by more current and former SSO employees than any other sheriff in the history of Sarasota County. And there is more to come.
The accountability issue is spot on and needs to be addressed.

People just want fairness and accountability (that’s all). The fact that the current sheriff (Knight) is being sued by so many current and former deputies is proof positive that we have some unethical issues happening under Knight’s watch. It’s time to fix these things.
