If I get a trespass warning against someone for my residence, how long is it in effect?
Does the person have to be given a written copy of the warning before it can be enforced?
How far away can they legally be from my home?

written trespass warning can only be served on the person if they are present when law enforcement arrives. it is good for one year. if you are seeking a protection restraining order from a judge that is sought downtown at the courthouse and that is set by a judge on the timeframe.
