Just FYI...no general provision for raises, but they have room for 11,000 positions state wide, over 2 million for law enforcement radio systems, and 6.4 million for "security salary lapse" for DoC employees. Whatever that means.

The budget might not be so bad for us after all, well depending on what CJEC increase means? also how many people are member of the security unit? is 6.4 mil enough to give us some kind of bump in pay as well?

There is no raise except for state officers represented by PBA in the proposed budget as of now. Hopefully that changes but no raises for other state employees as of now.

Criminal justice estimating conference - I think that 6 million is just for an increasing inmate population over previous estimates by them.
