Sounds like Sheriff Nocco has hit a brick wall with the County Commission and has now turned to the media to try to get raises and paid overtime.

They are not going to give up big $ to the Sheriff's Office. A 5% bump, maybe at most a 7% but Tampa and the other big agencies will still eat our lunch and steal the best we have. :roll:

The word is that the Sheriff is fighting for a 22% pay increase and more extra duty jobs. Has anyone heard this. We haven't gotten much in the last three years.

If he fights for 22% and gets 15% maybe we can stop the exodus.

Well dumb arse we have not gotten anything except 3 percent in the last 6 years. Sheriff chris does not care about deputies so a big raise will never happen. I like how we have more analyst in ilp than we had working the road in all of viper and talon one day last week. It really show his attention to detail when officer safety is at stake. What was even better is talon and viper 2nd shift come out with so few bodies they should have stayed home.

Ok I am lost. Are we talking about the fired Lieutenant that looks like John Wayne Gacy or someone else.

I am trying to piece this together.

So what your saying is the sheriff (that Rick Scott supports, are all tied to Marco Rubio and they are all adored by Legg, Browning and Fasano) is not perfect.

Please don’t tell this to Alex "Wonder boy" Orlando. This sheriff, who pays Bob White under the table, is hiring all of his wife’s companies, has made a drunk his colonel and a person who was fired for cheating (a captain).

This person who has just fired a lieutenant for lying, and a captain for covering up an affair as well as two supervisors over his IT department. Even though they tried to tell him not to buy the program his wife was selling.

This sheriff who has fired some of the most qualified commanders including four captains, a major and the colonel. This sheriff who planned to bring in Parole and Probation, and an entire training division, but failed on both.

OMG. Wake up.

Glad that only Alex "wonder boy" can’t figure this out.

However, riddle me this. Why is Nocco hiring, bay news 9 and Tampa Trib... Could he be just trying to make it where he has a friend everywhere during the next election?

Or support when he and Neinhuis hire Bob Whites companies as well Bridgette’s companies.

White and Nocco don’t care about the employees. This is nothing more than a way for Bob White to get richer and Nacho to get closer to a federal job.

NACHO will fire anyone that can’t get him ahead. Think about it. He had given us deputies HOW MANY RAISES????????

Meanwhile he gives all of his command staff raises and bonuses. If he wanted to take care of the Detention Deputies and the Road Dogs, he would eliminate the expenditures for the extra PIO’s, the Extra bonus for BOB, the money he is sending to his wife for the companies that she is lobbying for. These would include, transport, the kitchen staff and the new computer system. Nacho gets richer, Fasano has a job, White has three retirements and commission checks and no one cares about the staff.

This is like when Bob gave all the executive secretaries a huge increase and the deputies nothing.
The lt. Colonel was promoted to colonel and we got nothing.

The H.R. head, Brian got a 24K salary and we got nothing.

The sheriff’s secretary was given a huge increase to cover off duty and other entities, but we got nothing and she doesn’t run the programs.

The Head of Legal was given a huge raise, but now he doesn’t even have half the responsibility, because Mel has it. And we got nothing.

Over a million was spent on the new computer system, and we got nothing. And the computer system was a failure.

The newest Major has no real bureau to run, he got a raise, and we got nothing.
They promoted staff that was brought in here to upper level management, and we got nothing.

The …. OMG do I have to keep going.

We got nothing, and the sheriff and the past sheriff is getting rich. When is the sheriff going to fight for the workers. 3% is not going to cut it.

And please, we don't need Animal Control, Parole and Probation or a training center..... We do need;
good leadership,
less politics, (no more outsiders).
to be treated with respect,
and
put the backbone of the agency first.... the worker. Not the sheriff's secretary of the department head.

CHRIS NOCCO is the king and will save us.

Isn't is obvious he has more connections and is willing to help us. Besides, he has the experience. He has been a cop for years and helped with many major events. Otherwise White wouldn't have chose him.

That vote won't happen because we have a union and Noballs has the FOP in his pocket. The union reps all have cush jobs and it is a "roll with it" mentality.

Cushy job? Since when is working housing in the jail a "cushy job"? Provide proof or STFU.
