    Yes all the hiring process is the same for Certified as non. PT test and civil service plus hiring process is all the same. And everyone starts at the same pay no matter of experience.

    Especially if you like deducting a huge portion out of your paycheck for your pension your entire career. Higher pay means nothing when the percentage you pay every two weeks to fund your pension is all over the place.

    Is it hard to get to patrol of the airport I been a cop for 25 years

    There is always senior officers looking to go down to the airport to ride out the twilight years.......If you were to get hired I would think it would take you at least 5 years to get there maybe more, unless you get in trouble. We really don't need anyone just trying to ride our pension and benefits, we need younger hungry guys.
