Death Investigation Consolidated Thread
Users -
In response to the numerous complaints regarding the multiple threads opened regarding the Cohen death investigation, moderators have decided to consolidate the threads into a single thread entitled "SSO Death Investigation Questioned."
This move will allow those interested in the subject matter to continue participating in the discussion in a single place. For others, the thread can be ignored.
Please do not post a separate thread regarding the death investigation. It will be removed.
We hope this action will encourage new threads that interest you for discussion.

Also, we have received numerous complaints about posts from user Bob Sherin taking over threads. LEOAFFAIRS.COM actually has policies addressing both of these issues:
1. Postings need to stay on topic
2. Repetitive postings can be refused, edited or deleted and the poster(s) banned
To rectify the problem in listening to our users, we have decided to do the following (consistent with our Terms of Use):
1. All existing threads (including corresponding postings) dealing with the same death investigation will be consolidated into one (1) thread. This thread will not be a sticky (will not remain at the top of the page) and will not be locked (it will be open for new postings by users other than Bob Sherin).
2. All of Bob Sherin's postings dealing with this death investigation will be moved to a different and new thread (titled as such). This new thread will initially be a sticky (located at the top of the page) and will be open to receive new postings from user Bob Sherin.
3. Postings that violate our Terms of Use (including the above) will be Edited, Moved or Deleted using discretion and repeat offenses can result in banning.
Please allow some time for the above to be fully implemented. This is being done in response to our users and to maintain the integrity of the forums and the site.

Re: Death Investigation Consolidated Thread
All of the existing threads have been combined into a thread titled "Bob Sherin Questions SSO Death Invest Existing Threads" and everyone is welcome to post in it if you like. If you observe posts or threads about this investigation outside of this thread, please let mod 576, 577, or myself know.
Thank you,

The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a
courthouse is this: You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt
Not Commit Adultery," and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of
lawyers, judges and politicians...It creates a hostile work environment.

Re: Death Investigation Consolidated Thread
Update: Here is what will hopefully be the final two (2) strings/topics derived from this endeavor:
Murray Cohen Death Investigation
[Currently 3 pages]
http://www.leoaffairs.com/forums/vie...?f=84&t=157648
Posts Related To Bob Sherin & Steve Esdale Death Questions
[Currently 9 pages]
http://www.leoaffairs.com/forums/vie...?f=84&t=158099
The titles of these strings/topics should be self explanatory. Effective immediately posters who simply want to comment on the Murray Cohen death investigation should post under the Murray Cohen Death Investigation string/topic. Likewise, users wishing to comment on Bob Sherin's and/or Steve Esdale's death investigation questions should post under the Posts Related To Bob Sherin & Steve Esdale Death Questions string/topic. This action is being taken in response to multiple and repeated requests by our users in order to preserve the integrity of the forums. Postings that do not conform with the above and/or our Terms of Use will be moved or deleted (at the discretion of the moderator) and the poster can be banned if done repeatedly.
Thank you!
