Re: State Fair
What I find to be the saddest thing of all is that the citizens of Hillsborough County have a Sheriff's Office that is extremely understaffed, yet all the Deputies really want is leadership that they can trust & believe in. Instead, they must endure a Sheriff and Chief Deputy who have gone and will continue to go to any length to viciously retaliate and ultimately terminate any employee that even so much as questions their lack of leadership. I just can't help but believe that in many other communities and jurisdictions within this country, this type of hostile & retaliatory behavior by a elected official would not be permitted or allowed to continue? At what point does the rights and fair treatment of these Deputies finally take priority over a elected official who has lost the "Code of Ethics" of his position and puts the lives of both the County Citizens and your Deputies in danger by his poor use of the budget and the resources already available to him? Forgive me for thinking out loud and searching for a common sense solution to a unacceptable practice that this Elected Official refuses to correct. Something is mighty wrong at the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and it sure would not take very much light to expose the cracks in a dam about to break.

The bow will break and the cradle will fall. Let the flood gates open. It will take the deluge for anything to change. Not only are we short staffed but if the current "head coaches" were in the NFL they would have short lived careers, 'cause they sure can't pick 'em. Just wait, watch, and see. The coaches are suckers for butt kissin', boot lickin', pretenders who have limited if any talent but are the world's best at stepping on the backs of others while grinding those same people's face down into the dirt and mud. They are predatory. Some have flamed out already like a high draft pick for Bucs the last ten years, just check out the hotel sierra delta part of the org chart.
So you see, even if you get rid of joey and davie, you still have the lousy draft picks they have assembled around them. No I do not mean those who will retire in the next 2 years but the layer of ilk beneath them. That is where the mold and mildew is growing like fuzz on a 30 over-ripe banana. Stand by for a real treat in a few. Bon appetite!

Instead, they will leave and go elsewhere to ply their LE trade or stay and take it up the backside. Either way, Davie and Jose win by default due to being unopposed.

I don not know if you know this NB, but the PB did just that. They went out and thought they had found someone to run against the Sheriff, that was until the Sheriff hired him as a Major.

Getting a Union again
To get started on re-organizing a union just go to fop.net and click on labor services. Labor services has organizers and specialists who are no intimidated by anyone. There is a legal staff available. Contact Rick Weisman the Director and just get started. Don't waste time with any local PBA. The National Lodge has everything you need and does this everyday in every state against even bigger administrations that think they rule the world. Go to the website, scroll around, get a feel for it then decide.

We don't need a stupid union... most of these "problems" are all in your head. Manpower is our only serious issue. Morale would improve dramatically if we were appropriately staffed.

And a very "little man" he is, both in physical stature and mental capacity. A sheriff with a Social Anxiety Disorder, how scary is that..
