    Do You Want PBA

Do you guys still want the corrupt PBA to represent you? If you do, don't complain when you get screwed by Brickman and Marano.

So whose to say we wouldn't be trading one group of retards for another?

It does not matter. Historically they are in bed with the sheriff.
Just keep on paying those dues for marginal representation.

I am dropping the PBA if we get stuck back on 8 hour shifts! Isn't it a union issue if some of the agency road districts are on 12's, some on 8-12-12-8 and others on 8's??? It has to be a PBA issue because it's not equal agency wide because the Sheriff is letting some city managers control him.

Be better off going back to the beginning with F. O. P. !
At least then it would be actual unit representation, not political.

Hey genius, you realize when someone hires you they can dictate the terms of the contract, if the sheriff doesn't like the terms he doesn't have to contract with the city and the city manager can go to another city for services like SW Ranches did. The days of MY WAY or the HIGHWAY are gone. So keep *****ing and loose another city contract you idiot. The City Manager runs the city not the Sheriff, the city manager pays the sheriff's office. Not the other way around.

Seriously? Actually NOT. The will of the sheriff, he is the master of his domain. As long as the PBA and FOP are willing to suck-up, the rank and file will never be represented fully. The sheriff rules basically by divine right.

Sheriff Israel was at Weston roll call last night and answered our questions. He explained 8's were unlikely and that he did not support going back to them. He said a few city managers were pushing for 8's though, just in 2-3 cities. He said even if any city had to switch to 8's it would not be until at least August and likely not until January 2015.

He also said he decided we will keep the green and white car design.

    Thank you Sheriff Israel!!
