    2014 Predictions at PCSO

Political Correctness will venture into the area of Dom Vio incidents involving members. Agency related speeders will be more harshly dealt with. There still will be virtually no females or minorities promoted to LT or higher. Several will be fired for lying that would not have been if they told the truth. Insurance premiums and deductibles will be noticeable higher next year. Supervisors will be held more accountable so shall you. A lot more retiring, opportunities for transfer and promotion are possible. Slugs will have a much harder time getting by. If the Sheriff ever asked you about a case your working, you better be prepared to answer him, " I don't know", when you should have will leave a lasting impression that may not be good for you. The pay scale will still be fked up. We still wont know each other very well, that will continue, "Whats in it for me", is the new normal. Hopefully we are all safe another year, and in the end the rest of this is just filler.

Pretty accurate. I wonder which Captain or Major will have the first heart attack due to all the stress and micro management. The bad morale will spread to good deputies who have managed to remain cheerful. There will be some churn in upper management when people have had enough. IA will be kept very busy.

    Very sad.

Tampa will have over 100 openings next year. According to their HR they will be hiring from other agencies. 23 years and out and starting wage 1st Step $22.30 $46,384.00
    2nd Step $23.28 $48,442.40
    3rd Step $24,32 $50,585.60
    4th Step $25.57 $53,185.60
    5th Step $26.73 $55,598.40
    6th Step $27.93 $58,094.40
    7th Step $29.15 $60,632.00
    8th Step $30.43 $63,294.40
    9th Step $31.81 $66.164.80
    10th Step $32.51 $67,620.80
    Master Patrol Officer $36.23 $75,358.40
So everyone going through FTO will be gone! Bottom Line Bob rules

Something will have to be done about the deputy pay step plan. Not all at once because the money is not available but something is better than nothing.

The only bad morale is with the do nothing slugs who have not accepted that the days of being a lazy useless do nothing's are over. The only brass stressing are the ones who should not be wearing gold to begin with. What is sad is that it is taking so long to get rid of them. The only micro management is of those lazy slugs not doing there jobs. But I guess when you look at the Rice regim of being AWOL and managing from the nearest bar and Coats who could have cared less about the troops and nobody even knew what he looked like any real management look like a lot. The only thing that needs to be fixed here is the pay. The rest is a lot better than any other agency. Ask someone who works at TPD. Other than pay what is it that this place lacks?

    VERY HAPPY

I predict that Bobs inner circle will self destruct and a real Sheriff will emerge for the 2016 election. Rick Scott will lose to Charlie Crist and Bob will lose his power card. However the punishment will continue and more incompetent supervisors will be promoted as a payback for the past election. All uniforms and vehicles will change and the new SAB will open and Bob will claim ownership. I hope everyone realizes that Bob was also a loafer based on his do nothing stats.

Might I add that our topped out deputy pay is higher, just takes longer to get there. But if you don't think they earn their pay you are nuts.

Can you explain how to get top out Deputy pay? How can a deputy with 20 years on make more that a deputy with 27 years on? I have been here 12 years and just two dollars above starting. How a CPL with 7 years on make more 15,000 more than a 15 year deputy? Don't even try to compare our pay to Tampa.

Bob will blame Everett and claim he can't implement a step plan without 17 million of tax money. The reality is that the bocc does not like us and advertising the salary range is 42 to 68 cannot be possible without a step plan. Also certain deputies have been brought in at a higher pay scale based on agreements made with city PD we have inherited by default. The situation cannot be corrected without a bunch of cash and someone that is actually liked by the bocc.
