    St. Pete activists claim brutality

South St. Pete activists claim brutality on part of St. Pete & Pinellas County officers

Two reporters came to opposite conclusions.

At a news conference the family of 32-year-old Anthony Newkirk claimed that he is being denied medical treatment after being unjustly shot six times by a deputy with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Deputies claim he refused to exit his vehicle, appeared to be reaching for a weapon, possessed "multiple firearms," and charged him with setting up an illegal gun deal.

The activists also brought video evidence to back up claims a man was was beaten and arrested by St. Petersburg Police.

One writer bought the story and told their side: http://cltampa.com/dailyloaf/archive...s#.Uqpp5_RDtQH

Another reporter actually looked at the video and found that it contradicted the story and instead backed up police. http://www.myfoxtampabay.com/story/2...qyukKs.twitter

    Quite a different take.

By the way, they don't speak for southside residents.

Thank you Steve Nichols for calling the bullshit flag on this over inflated fairy tale by straight up lying thugs. People too stupid to review their own video before fabricating a bunch of bullshit.
