Yes, JJ has saved Dan from the complaints of getting free box seats to the Orioles games, having his son become bat boy for the organization BUT yet order everyone to NOT accept ANYTHING AT ALL by ANYONE! This violates general orders and Dan already has a level 5 sitting in his file. Captain Jernigan was made aware by a citizen complaint and hoped it would disappear. It isnt. There is some media involvment now digging into to this and Jernigans attempted cover up. Will be in near future. Dirty Deputies do get caught and punished.

In this case, an honest deputy was punished for ratting out a dirty deputy. It was Jernigan who investigated the complaint of the honest deputy -- and then Jernigan sided with the dirty deputy (and basically called the honest deputy a liar). And then the dirty deputy was promoted to lieutenant by Tom Knight. This place is getting weirder and weirder with each year that passes.

Watch your backs. And if you release information on a dirty deputy, then your career is screwed because the 2nd floor will have a target on you.
