    Slam Fest

Words of warning, do not make this a slam fest nor accuse anyone of criminal allegations without proof. Here is a link for posting reference material (IE News paper articles) http://forums.leoaffairs.com/viewtop...?f=309&t=91175 And here is a refresher on TOU http://forums.leoaffairs.com/viewtop...?f=309&t=91147

Not following will get you banned real quick. As for the removed threads, you know why and everyone knows I'm not admin.

You are removing entire threads. If you are concerned that a post or thread is violating the TOU then edit it to reflect your policy. Removal of an entire post, actually entire threads, is censorship and goes to a personal agenda as opposed to compliance with a policy. Though you may not be admin, you re certainly behaving as if you are largely influenced by the wishes and interests of the LCSO administration.

There is nothing in your TOU that says that you must remove a post. The content of the posts that you have deleted amount to nothing more than an editorial. People responded to the editorial with different viewpoints. That is it. No other legitimate site would remove those posts.

This post was about two guys that behaved in a way that would be equal to the statutory definition of a burglary. The opinions posted were no different than the media reports that communicated the same idea. So why is it that you chose to delete the posts but media outlets don’t?

You have now begun deleting posts that amount to a roast. Is roasting someone is a violation of the TOU? Please. I have a very hard time believing that you are not tied to the administration in some way as your actions drown out your words.

Our policy is if we can edit it and still make it flow we will, but we don't have to and we can delete as we see fit.

Ok so where did you reference the link to the news story then?

    See my reply above.

Roasting is when the person is there and it is jokes, not accusations of criminal actions. So that makes what you did a slam fest which is not tolerated here.

As I have always said if you reference a news article, post the link, if you have documents then load to a file sharing site and post the link. If not then stop. Also someone posted a link to a wink news story that was false, so please do tell how it is not an attempt to slam? Remember if you do not like the TOU then feel free to leave and not return. If you can abide by then then please feel free to stay. LEO Affairs owns LEO affairs not you and not the press. They set the rules here and I enforce them. Should you have any questions about ownership of this board and the TOU rules along with enforcement please refer to this linkhttp://www.leoaffairs.com/message-boards/terms-of-use/

Oh I have copied the section that applies to what you are inquiring about:

This is not a SLAM site and the Forums should be used constructively. Messages (anonymous or not) accusing anyone (including political candidates) of wrong doing (and/or criminal accusations) without substantial proof or reference are subject to deletion. Use your REAL name unless the need for an Anonymous Message is warranted. Messages not requiring Anonymous status, but being abused, are subject to deletion by System Moderators. Anonymous Messages are not granted the same right to exist that properly identified Messages are. Failure to comply can result in Message deletion and/or access blockage.

So Censorship1 you are making an accusation about the person, why are you not using your real name as there is no need for you to remain anonymous in your post? That is a TOU violation should you want to split hairs?

Here is the ownership information: The bold underlines in the middle of the paragraph applies to you as well.

If it is an allegation then how does one have proof? You are not making sense. So, in other words, unless someone is convicted it is forbidden fruit here at LEO affairs to write about any event? Cops know when elements exist that violate statute. That knowledge plays right into their decision making processes every day and you dismiss that as not being relative? Please. You are looking out for the admin.

This is real easy to explain... There are no allegations or any proof to what you are claiming. NO CRIME WAS COMMITTED! What you read (or maybe read) was an IA Summary which does not tell the entire story. You can't commit a burglary when the custodial owner invites you in, takes you back to the convicted felon's property then opens the property and invites you in.

Put down your pitch fork and your burning torch cause this witch hunt is over.

At this point the only thing you are doing is making FALSE allegations which is a TOU violation.

No more posts about MR allegedly robbing people in Bonita. The state dropped the charges. Anything else are allegations.
